Thanks for the update. You really are setting yourself apart by constantly updating your software and innovating with new, easy to use hardware.

I was waiting for the Fuel % option to be added. However, it does not seem to work as the light is always on. The fuel option works as intended, but the fuel % is not working properly. Please verify. Also I agree with the option of assigning multiple options for one LED (RPM & Speed Limiter, for example. The more options the better  ;D)

Thanks.

Hi,

and thanks for adding the update when value changes and laptime seconds (for graph/simscreen). my graph now works :)
There is very little difference in time between each lap, so sometimes the graph looks like two identical laps when one was faster.
Is this value whole seconds? if it is then it would explain it. Maybe tenths or hundreds of a second would work better.

did you have time to check the fuel calculation? or is that for next version?
iracing says I have 9.1 liters of fuel, simscreen says it`s 8,8.
when I switch to english then iracing says I have 2 imp gal, while simscreen says 2,31 gallons.

none of this is very important - I am very happy with your products :)

I will check the IRacing fuel issue soon.

Regarding the lap time, it is not rounded, I keep the decimal part of the seconds.
Two similar laps are displayed the same because the resolution of the display is limited.
So if you have a chart 60 pixels high and the minimum value of the bar is 0 and the max is 60, 50s and 50.5s would be displayed the same. What you have to do it to restrict the range of the chart. if you run the lap in around 60s for example, you can set the minumum of the chart=55 and the max=65 for example. this way you are increasing the resolution and you will be able to show fractions of a second.

yes, it's confusing...

Thanks!

Not confusing at all - I just didnt think of it :)

Edit: works fine now - see attached pic of my last race (I am not happy about crashing on lap 1 but the graph is brilliant :))

While looking into the new DLC-247 controller, I came across some oddities with Live For Speed data handling.

As I don't have a DLC-247 yet, I used a Pro Shift to gather some information, and noticed the Turbo Pressure cannot be set to a non integer value. The only sim with turbo pressure output is LFS, and I know the road cars top out at 0.83 bar, while the race tuned cars hit 1.76 bar.
The closest values I can currently select are 1 or 2, so making a bar graph/gauge or even a single maximum pressure indicator is impossible.
The data view in simdash also has a minimum of 0 bar, while all turbo charged cars in LFS produce a 1 bar vacuum (I.E. -1.00 bar boost pressure).

The fuel value is also odd, rather then displaying a percentage and liters/gallons, the data view displays the raw outgauge value (I.E. 15 liters is displayed as 1500,00 in place of a percentage).
The outgauge data can be rounded to display liters(and gallons by conversion), while a percentage can be displayed if you use the known maximum fuel level known for each car in LFS(this is displayed in the pit menu in the "info" tab).

I'd also like to know whether the decimal points of the prebuilt DLC-247 displays are connected. This would be necessary to correctly display fuel level, pressure and temperature values.

Hello.
I will try to answer your questions as soon as I get back to work and dosome testing.

With the rpm% I had to use > instead of >=

dont know if that helps you, but it did the trick for me (in Iracing)

I tried rfactor today (the demo) and couldn´t get it to recognise my wheel or pedals.

If I disconnected the pro shift, then it found the wheel. I use the buttons firmware for the pro shift.
I have many usb things plugged in (simscreen, pro shift, gi max, spi-d, csp pedals, fanatec wheel, a (gp-wiz 40 based) button box from dere speare) and at least 4 of them  show up as game controllers.
I dont know how many controllers rfactor is able to "see" - maybe its an rfactor limitation?
I am probably not buying rfactor, so it doesn´t matter to me, but I thought you might want to know?

I also noticed that in Xpadder (which I use for mapping the buttons on my button box) the pro shift appears twice - two identical devices.
it still works fine, I can assign functions/keys to the pro shift buttons, but its a bit strange seeing two of them :)

I think there is a limit on the number of controllers you can have in rFactor

I have used rFactor recognising 4 controllers, so it may be that Windows is at fault....

The order in which Windows organises the various controllers is the way rFactor sees them so plug in a new one and windows might put that first and bump your wheel down a spot...

Your wheel may now be controller 2 instead of controller 1 and rFactor may be looking at the wrong board

rFactor only allows you to adjust sensitivity & deadzone on the first two devices that windows offers it, but it will recognise button pushes as inputs from multiple (other) controllers

Hope that helps, Cheers.......

Hi,

One strange thing:
- I have set up my computer to start simdash 60 seconds after everything else (since it needed some time to detect the devices).
Everything works, except graphs. If I go into the simscreen config and select the exact same graphs again, then it works.

I dont know if this is a problem at my end, may well be.

the lap time displayed at the same page as my laptime graph (or the cpu temp on the cpu temp chart page) is displaying correctly though, and in the case of the cpu temp it is displaying the exact same value. For laptimes I display the text value and graph the numerical (seconds) value.

This is in Iracing.

What is the graph displaying?
because if the graph is displaying cpu usage or temperature, you have to check SimDash is started after CoreTemp

on one page i have a laptime graph as bars and on the other a cpu temp graph as a line.

core temp is started a minute or so before simdash.
the cpu temp and lap time in text format displays ok. i have these on the same pages as the graphs, but the graphs dont update so i am sure the values are available to simdash.

after clicking configure in simdash and selecting the same two lcd files, the graphs both display just fine.

strange, i know...

Hi.
Do you get the same result if you use two other designs? even empty or with static text?
I am trying to understand if the issue is related to the specific designs or it is more general.

Thank you

have rebooted several times. lcd files are attached.

race_new is #1,
laptimegraph auto is #2
laptime graph is #3
i have nothing on screen #4
cpu is on screen #5

none of the graphs show up. but if I configure simdash and point to the exact same files again, then it works.

will try to wait even longer before starting simdash. 2 minutes :)

When you start SimDash and configure the SimScreen because the graphs are not displayed, does SimDash remember the names of the .lcd files you had set previously? or do you find the fine names empty.

Another question, the file LapTimeGraphAuto.lcd has a chart and some text below. when you say the chart is not displayed do you mean the screen is completely blank or is the text below the chart displayed?

thank you
