I'm using a Honda CRX Del Sol cluster for my setup.
Both gauges work, and most importantly they go up to 9000 RPM (Actually 9500), and 240Kp/h for the tachometer and the speedometer respectively.
I have noticed the RevBurners get somewhat hot during use, though that's probably because the entire cluster draws power from them.
It's also an older dash, so it has a mechanical odometer. The motor for this could be a bit power hungry for the regulators.
Christiano, I'm thinking of connecting the gauges to an external power supply so the RevBurners only provide signal. Will this be safe if I use an unregulated supply? And should I use a common ground?
Also, I'd like to suggest a forum topic (Sticky?) where people can post compatible or incompatible clusters/gauges, so they don't have to throw away money on incompatible ones.
For example, I purchased a Toyota Celica T18 cluster, which turns out to have a mechanical speedo. The tach does work however.
