Hello.
In general digital and analog tachometers work in the same, so you should have no problem with yours.

Regarding the oil gauge, at the moment it is not supported but we are designing a board that will support that type of gauge.

Cristiano,

If you need a tester for your new board I have an entire Dash full awaiting your new creation! The Tach is run on your rev burner!

Can't wait to get them all running!!!

No, the DLC247 is a different board.

From this thread: http://www.symprojects.com/forum/index.php?topic=333.0

"Hi.
I am definitely doint a controller for those gauges, or at least I will try.
But as I said in another post I will start working on that project at the end of November because first I have to complete another controller which will be available in few weeks.

Cheers
Cristiano"

We all can't wait for the board to drive other gauges!!!

I appreciate your hard work, as does everyone else. This sim community is thankful for the work you do Cristiano and people like Derek Speare as well. Merry Christmas and a Happy Race way.

Nice set up.

What type of interface do those gauges have. 2 wires for the power and 1 for the signal?

Thanks

“OVERSTEER” is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
“HORSEPOWER” is how fast you hit the fence.
“TORQUE” is how far you take the fence with you.

Cristiano,

yes, a + and a - plus a Signal (If that is what it is called) all run off of 12volt. I tested the gauges with the revburner (Only power) and placed them in demo mode. All works like a charm, just waiting for your product!

Thanks Denis! Little over the top, but worth every penny. Each 2" Gauge retail for $200-250 the Tach's are retail for $340-$390. So I have a total of $1500.00 in gauges but only paid $650.00 (God I love ebay!)

Very nice Mike, where did the dash come from? Could you tell us about the gauge's, for example are there oil pressure, engine temp etc .. I am working on my rig http://www.symprojects.com/forum/index.php?topic=402.0 and a dash is looking very good. I am overwhelmed with so many choices ATM.

SO they work with the rev burner? I wasn't expecting that. I thought the rev burner's signal wasn't compatible.
I need to investigate better those gauges. DO you have a link to these products?

Thank you.

What Mike has done is hook the gauges up to the RevBurner to use the 12v to power them, then ran the gauges in "demo" mode. (Edit: Didn't read all of Mike's post he said the same thing, sorry for the repetition.)

You can find info on the gauges here:
